I am pleased to have met the branch manager Mr. Sivaraman of this branch of IOB. Mine is one of the oldest bank accounts since the inception of my home branch. I don't want to name it for obvious reasons, but it is one of the branches in Kanyakumari District. My wife and daughter are the ones who handle mobile app payments from Canada. I came from Toronto to Parassala for ayurvedic treatment and encountered issues with my IOB mobile app as I started doing it for the first time. So, I visited my home branch several times for help, but the required or the adequate help was not rendered. Due to this, I couldn't make purchases. I was stressed and frustrated as I was preparing for my treatment, and I was aware that I would have to make payments to various service providers. None in my home branch ever looked at me pleasantly, nor did they give me a smile. They only smile at a few people they know of, and the rest of the new faces aren't recognized. They were all with grin face. Half the time, the ATM outlet is shut. It's really painful for me to write such. I want them to show some professionalism and carry themselves in a better way to understand the needs of their clients and help them accordingly. Since I was in the hospital for ten days, I thought of visiting this branch. As I entered, I felt a ray of professionalism in this branch. I met the branch manager and explained my situation, which he fixed in less than five minutes. I also asked him to enable the contactless payment to the card. He made an effort to contact my home branch and spoke to the branch manager Sumesh and got it done effortlessly. I'm extremely pleased with his service. Kudos to Sivaraman and team. Please keep up the good spirit. Way to go, Sivaraman! 🙏
